Wistaston Academy have been awarded a certificate of appreciation by Prof. Becky Francis (Chief Executive, Education Endowment Foundation) for accessing tutoring through the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) Tuition Partners and becoming an NTP school.
The NTP offers an opportunity for external high-quality tutoring to support the incredible work that schools are doing in response to the the coronavirus pandemic and to provide a longer term contribution to closing the gap.
Up to 250,000 pupils will receive tutoring through the NTP Tuition Partners pillar this year, reflecting an amazing collective effort to support disadvantaged pupils.
