Her-Place community share hub

What Is Her‑Place?

From April 2025, Motherwell Cheshire changed its name to Her‑Place Charitable Trust. This new name reflects how the organisation has grown and how its mission now supports not only mothers, but all women and girls in the community.

Her‑Place continues the charity’s long‑standing commitment to helping women feel confident, supported, and empowered. Over time, their work has expanded beyond supporting mothers, offering a wide range of wellbeing services, community projects, and practical support for women and girls at every stage of life.
The new name captures this wider focus while keeping their core values at heart – inclusion, empowerment, and community support.

Although the name is changing, the charity’s work remains the same. Her‑Place will continue to provide safe, welcoming spaces, strong partnerships, and essential services designed to help women thrive. They are committed to working closely with families, schools, and the wider community as they move forward.
